Finally Prenzel Distilling has managed to jump the pond and land in Australia. The distillery has always been a family owned and run boutique business that focuses on quality rather than quantity. The founders of Prenzel, Hugh and Christine Steadman have always worked to deliver unique quality products at affordable prices, now we can taste them in Australia and find out what our cousins in NZ have been tasting for the last 15 years.
Our friends Chris & Hugh created the distillery in Blenheim in 1989, since those early days where they started off with only fruit brandies they have had many international successes, the most notable ones to date being the Southern Star Vodka that outclassed 42 Below and 26,000 other Vodkas to win a silver medal at the San Francisco Spirit Awards 2008. The San Francisco Spirit Awards are the most prestigious spirit awards in the USA.

The Blenheim Bay Premium Gin was awarded the Platinum award at the World Beverage Competition 2007-2008, this is an award given to only one winner per category at the show, chosen unanimously by the tasting panel as the finest offering of the competition.
When we first came across their range of products we realised that they were unique and of a high quality, it has taken us over 2 years to put everything together so that we can make these world quality products available in Australia . We are now looking for people to join us in Australia to demonstrate the products in tastings around the country.
We are expecting to launch at the end of August in Australia, we are looking for motivated people that would be interested in becoming part of this ground breaking opportunity in Australia. There are only a few occasions where a totally new product range and concept comes to this industry; we hope that you will appreciate how much of a ground floor opportunity this is for everyone.

The next step is to contact us with some details of your experience and knowledge so that we can make sure you are offered the appropriate opportunity. There are no special requirements for the food products range but everyone that works with the alcoholic products will need to have passed an RSA (Responsible Service or Alcohol) exam. People that already hold an RSA will have an advantage; however there are courses run almost every day of the week all over Australia. If you do have an RSA please send a copy in to us for our records.
