Good selling involves asking questions to elicit the prospect's needs and desires and finding the appropriate product or service that meets those needs and that the prospect is willing to pay for. Luckily in Party Plan we offer a service which is severely lacking in this day and age. No other store or shop does this. We also have the added bonus of loving and knowing the brilliant products we sell are of top quality. Read body language, listen to the the persons wants and needs and follow through with the perfect product. A good salesperson is much more knowledgeable about their product or service than the prospect could ever likely be and can offer valuable information and insight to the decision making process. Information and product knowledge is forever important. Following on, have you got complimentry products? For skin and makeup, cleansers and moisturisers, for necklaces...earrings of course. For me...antibacterial toy cleaners or lubes and maybe even an After Sex Towel. You get the message, some products go hand in hand! Richy

Would you like Fries with that???
But, it's the best way to sell! When my customers want something, I suggest another to go hand in hand! Had I not asked, and explained why they needed it, and the benefits of having both together, they would have not known, they wouldn't've been as happy with the product, and my sales would have not been as good as they could have been! Win win all round! Thanks for sharing this with us! - It's a GREAT hint and tip - and a good habit for us pp'ers to get into! :) Lavina

TV, telemarketing, e-mail, or print advertising have nowhere near the ability to motivate a particular customer to actually place an order as does face-to-face selling. Your most effective selling tool will be your verbal presentation and interaction with the prospective buyer. When you are starting out small, you are probably going to have to do a lot of selling in order to jump-start your business. Your effectiveness as a salesperson will be an absolutely critical factor in the success of your business. You must be confident of the value of what you have to offer, and possess the materials and skills to help you put your best foot forward.Maintain your customer base while starting new leads everywhere you can and at every opportunity you can. This keeps business circulating well now and into the future. Let the new leads pass you by and forget about nuturing your previous customers.....you may as well go work at Maccas! As vin says...do you want fries with that?
